Porto São Pedro | Porto Feliz, SP

Seeking to integrate the exuberant landscape with the aggressive geography of the land and the owner's self, we dedicated ourselves to finding the precise path for the correct hierarchization of uses and flows, in order to enable harmonious coexistence, for this residence that will function as a refuge for those who live in one of the world's largest urban agglomerations.
The materiality of the work is designed to eliminate the need for constant maintenance, to mimic the built volume and to emphasize an irreverent aesthetic connected to the countryside.
Taking advantage of the unevenness of the 8m drop towards the back of the plot, we developed the floors giving partial and total privacy, but completely interchangeable, allowing the most diverse uses to occur simultaneously.
At street level, the elements that stand out are the pedestrian access plaza, the events hall and the vehicle ramps that lead to the level equivalent to a basement, where the main entrance to the residence is located. The entire functional part of the house is on this floor, as well as a private apartment. Going further down, at the most private point of the plot, we designed the third block, which houses the bedrooms, the sauna and the swimming pool, which will be outlined by strong landscaping.

Projeto Apto Experience | Curitiba, PR

For the design of this apartment, we thought of an architecture that reflected the vision of a modern family, whose origins are in one of the most cosmopolitan cities in the world and who are attentive to the transformations of everyday family life.
The architecture that will welcome this new phase of life must provide enchantment, comfort, warmth and versatility. To achieve these goals, we based ourselves on the precepts of modern architecture, valuing exposed structures, large spans and integration of uses, as well as paying special attention to materiality, form and the particularities of each resident.

Residence CV | Curitiba, PR

Memory

It was a challenge to renovate, extend and revitalize a house that was badly deteriorated and doomed to demolition. We saw the value in the structural potential and our concern for the environment empowered the client to take on the challenge of utilization. With the original architect's permission for a complete overhaul, we thought freely so that the project would bring new inspiration to the location of the property, on the edge of the entrance to an important condominium, as well as housing an extension of the housing program.

Our strongest trait is expressed through the use of exposed structural elements. English bricks and wooden cladding define the volumetric contours and consequent functional organization.

We brought a singularity to the program, creating a space of intense "underground" conviviality linking the entire landscaping part and the social area of the house in a concentric way.

GC Apartment Project | Curitiba, PR

Spatial integration and correcting misalignments were the premises for this interior design project. To improve the interpretation of the space and integrate the social areas, some walls were removed: between the Dining Room and the Kitchen and between the Kitchen and the Balcony. Between the Dining Room and the Balcony, it was also proposed to remove the window frame, which was necessary to integrate the rooms, as well as the "false" extension of the beam that runs over the window frame to the back wall of the barbecue area, creating the alignment of this element.
In addition, the balcony floor was leveled with the floor inside the apartment. After this change, the entire balcony was closed off with glass to enlarge the dining area. The balcony enclosure was also installed in the master suite.
A drywall wall was proposed with the intention of creating a linear kitchen, extending the barbecue top so that it becomes a single worktop.
The wooden block that marks the access creates warmth, unifies the rooms and helps to correct some misalignments, as well as camouflaging the doors to the toilet and hallway, which allow access to the bedrooms, thus reinforcing the search for clean, integrated environments without visual pollution.
In the other rooms - laundry, bedrooms and toilets - a few changes were made to the layout, using only furniture and joinery.

Triunfo Transbrasiliana | Curitiba, PR

Triunfo Transbrasiliana's boardroom was designed as an intervention on a small plot of land next to two pre-existing buildings, located at the highest point of the Linha Verde (BR-116) in the city of Curitiba. The main building, which houses the company's administrative sector, consists of a two-storey horizontal block. As the main façade faces west, it has a second layer of coated glass, separate from the building, to protect the office spaces from direct sunlight. Although the new unit is distinct from the existing buildings, it is integrated into the architectural ensemble while retaining some of its original features. The existing white bar is extended into the new building to emphasize the main entrance on the same level and access to the parking lot one level below. The reception, CCO (operations control center) and modular meeting rooms are on the second floor, and the three upper floors contain boardrooms, other meeting rooms and a café, all arranged hierarchically in a cantilever over the new building's main entrance. The upper block is covered by an automated, articulated skin made of perforated, galvanized steel panels that are used to control sunlight, but even when completely closed allow a view of the Curitiba skyline to the west and the Serra do Mar to the east, which is particularly enchanting. Between the old and new buildings, a vertical circulation block stands out from the others for its materiality, with a brutalist concrete façade. The elevators open onto a pleasant space with glass walls and a view of the city of Curitiba and the Serra do Mar. The large internal spaces, vertical connections, variable heights, hierarchy of uses, transparency and cross ventilation all contribute to people's comfort in their daily tasks.
